Over the past 25 years, I have been doing freelance designs while I am in between my career path. I have designed for numerous clients using my skills and my expertise to gratify my audience with award-winning graphic designs and illustrations.  Some of my clients needed websites designed, infographics, setting up presentations, photoshoots, product design, logos, and much more. ​

 

 

Instructional Designer/ Trainer with Turrim Communications,

In preparing learning material for the construction crew, I was able to develop criteria used to instruct the crew members for preparation in training for safety regulations/requirements set forth by OSHA, and first aid for on-the-job procedures. I set up new employee training through the use of eLearning.

As Art & Marketing Director for "A Natural Nutrition" I was given the responsibility of all Art and Marketing related issues, designed packaging, fliers, and website using Adobe Creative Suite, Managed the production of the product using an edible ink printer, and edited all photography to be used for the production of the product.

Instructed Design Students in the use of computer applications that included Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Painter, Streamline, Freehand, and Microsoft Office.  Provided Macintosh and PC technical support and maintenance.  Evaluated and attended printers and computers in the Fine Arts Department while supervising 15 student workers.

Assumed multiple responsibilities that included product concept and design, marketing strategies, and package design including photography and typography.  Developed a clear understanding of color printing while using flexography.  Managed the work of 8 freelance artists.  Oversaw production and Supervised sample development semiannually in Hong Kong.  Our toys were manufactured in China and our major retailers were Walmart, Kmart, and Toys R Us.  I created toys for newborn babies to 4 years of age.
